Led the integration of all retail disciplines into a 360° global framework, aligning strategy, operations, design, and service while ensuring each market reflected Aesop’s brand identity through its local culture and context.

Aesop’s second Berlin signature store draws on the cultural and historical fabric of its West Berlin neighbourhood. Inspired by nearby performing arts institutions such as Theater des Westens and Berliner Schaubühne, the interior subtly alludes to the language of theatrical drama.

Nine oak pillars rise through openings in the floor, evoking characters poised on stage. By day, they open as illuminated display cabinets for Aesop’s product range; by night, they close to serve as structural columns. This duality reinterprets traditional carpentry through a contemporary, theatrical lens.
